Buddy Check
Buddy Check 25 is a program designed to remind women of all ages to be aware of their breast health. Affiliate Susan G. Komen for the Cure, WEEK-TV, OSF Saint Francis Medical Center and Methodist Medical Center have joined together to sponsor this program which encourages women to partner with one another. You choose a friend or relative to be your “Buddy.” Then, on the 25th of each month, check with your buddy to ensure that you both completed your monthly breast self awareness exam. WEEK’s News 25 will air special announcements on the 25th of each month to help you remember to call your Buddy Check 25 partner. All those registered for Buddy Check 25 will receive a packet of information on breast health and breast self awareness.
